Stage 3 testing includes:
Stage 1:
The injectors are first tested to verify solenoids are working. If an injector fails during Stage 1, customer will be consulted to see if they would like to proceed with Stage 2 Testing.
Stage 2:
The injectors are inspected and ultrasonic cleaned. Spray pattern is visually checked and basic flow/return flow is measured on our IFT-70. Testing is conducted on our highly calibrated Hartridge CRi-Pc where we simulate full throttle at high flow, mid load, idle, and perform a static back leak test. The machine also tests for solenoid response, return fuel temperature, and fuel delivery in the form of mm3.
Stage 3:
Includes installation of new nozzles and re-test.
After testing we will call you to explain the results and provide suggestions
*** Stage 3 testing includes initial cleaning and test and then 2 passes with either a replacement solenoid or nozzle. If injector(s) still fail at this point customer will be consulted to see if they would like to proceed at the hourly shop rate
