The factory power steering hoses in hydroboost equipped 2001-2010 General Motors 2500/3500 DIESEL pickup trucks are notorious for leaks. We've changed many of these hoses in our shop and discovered that the available replacements for these hoses have not been improved, many of them leaking again very quickly after installation. From a repair shop perspective, this makes offering a "parts and labor" warranty, even when using OEM parts, nearly impossible. Since a large portion of our business is the service and repair of light duty diesel pickups, we needed a solution we could count on, one we could offer a warranty on!
Drawing on our contacts and experience with custom manufactured tubing and hose assemblies, we have produced a completely new set of replacement power steering hoses that addresses the problems with the OEM parts. We tested with different types of hose and found that Stainless Steel Braid over Teflon hose (like we use in most of our other assemblies) generated an unacceptable level of in-cab noise...noise that is NOT a problem with the non-braided style of hydraulic hose we chose for our production assemblies. We also tested with tubing sections that were permanently crimped as part of the hose assembly and ones where the hose could be disconnected. We wanted to be sure we were providing the best of every option, and we're extremely proud of the final product!

Our power steering hose assemblies are not only manufactured from superior materials, we have built them to be easier to install and serviceable in the unlikely event of a leak. Unlike the factory design, the hydraulic hose is no longer permanently attached to the tubing sections, one of the major downfalls of the stock lines. Instead, the Driven Diesel tubing sections have been fitted with AN fittings, making the hydraulic hose portion of the line removeable and replaceable. This aids installation by allowing the tubing sections to be installed independently of the hose..and allows replacement of the hydraulic hose without having to purchase the expensive tubing sections again. If you are looking for a true "once and for all" solution to this extremely common problem...look no further!
