Both dampers are finished in a corrosion resistant black zinc chromate, then laser engraved with a timing mark, Fluidampr – Made in the USA logo, and SFI 18.1 credential. A pre-drilled 3/8â€Â-24 UNF on Ø3.200 B.C. bolt pattern allows for an accessory pulley, custom mandrel drive, and damper installer/remover tool use. Duramax L5P damper 830151 for 2020-present models feature a hard coat anodized aluminum fan pulley in this mounting.
Fluidampr High Strength Bolt Kit, part number 300010 is recommended for proper installation in performance applications. The kit contains a diamond plated friction washer and an ARP high strength bolt. Combined these help ensure a secure connection to the crankshaft and protects against fretting.
