This kit was designed to avoid check engine lights. Featuring a silicone IAT (Intake Air Temperature) mounting grommet that ensures s true o-ring seal to the sensor.
RAM Air Scoop Fitment Seals Better Than Stock: The factory scoop attachment uses plastic snap in features to secure the scoop to the airbox, which can result in airflow loss. The S&B scoop seal has a rubberized seal fitment that compresses into the stock scoop resulting is less airflow loss.
