VPMAX Intercooler Boot Kit

I cannot recommend this kit, it is extremely difficult to install. I am going on 5 hours now and I'm on my final boot. The boots may very well hold but they are too small for the piping. They do fit but they are such a tight fit that the only way to install them is to remove whatever component you're trying to attach them to. My factory boots have rolled Center sections to allow for some deflection. This kid does not, if you need to service the intake system when you have this kit on you are going to have a very bad day. It was recommended I use hairspray to help adhere the boots to the pipes. I can absolutely say that is not needed. I have a compound turbo setup so my piping is a little bit different but it's still the factory pipes and sizing. As it is I need to use Lube just to get these boots onto the piping. I also have a b d intake horn and can tell you that the straight boot that comes with this kit too attached to that intercooler pipe does not offer enough deflection. The boot Kinks over where you put the clamp so when you clamp down is at an awkward angle and pinches the boot. This also makes it extremely difficult to get the bolt and spring on the clamp because the threading isn't long enough to extend over the bent boot.
